Business Intelligence Center: Michiel Jonker (CISA)

Michiel started to take interest in the SME/SMB economy 17 years ago. As a result, he has the greatest respect for small and medium business owners. In Michiel's opinion you are the heroes of the business world! Every country's economy strongly depends on its SME/SMB sector to provide jobs for millions, to pay taxes and to produce a huge part of its GDP. Every country needs entrepreneurs and business owners and CANNOT build the economy without your business initiatives!

Michiel has 16 years of experience in developing business risk management strategies (i.e. profit protection strategies) for clients. He has been a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) since 2001. This certification was obtained from the global leader in IT Governance and Assurance, ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), situated in Illinois, USA.

He assisted organizations in a professional capacity by evaluating the threats to their businesses (i.e. the risks they were facing on a daily basis). As a result, he acquainted himself with the most important and inclusive solution needed, and acquired the necessary knowledge, skills, and techniques to minimize a company's risk of failure and to maximize its chances of growth and success. Today, as a business owner himself, he strongly believes that every small or medium business can maximize its chances of success.
